Become a Charter Member of The Catholic Media Association!

We are looking for individuals* who are:

  • Faithful Catholics with a desire to participate in the apostolic mission of the Church involving the new media for the new evangelization.
  • Involved in Catholic and Secular media: Radio, TV, Video, Blogging, Podcasting, Web Development, Print, and other related fields.
  • Interested in becoming one of the Foundation Stones for this new and exciting association.

Between now and September 1, 2008 we are accepting applications for charter members – Foundation Stones – of the The Catholic Media Association (TCMA).

* Membership is limited to those who are 16 years of age or older.
 

As one of our Foundation Stones of TCMA, you will receive all normal member benefits, plus:

  • Special charter member price for the first year
  • Waiver of the one-time application fee
  • Able to renew for a second year at the charter price
  • A special Foundation Stones charter membership card
  • A special Foundation Stones Commemorative Certificate confirming you as one of the founding members

Categories of Membership

Individual Member (Full) – An individual member is one who joins TCMA due to his or her personal involvement in one of the many forms of media while not attached to a company or organization with the same mission. This includes individuals employed by secular media organizations.

Organizational Member (Full) – An organizational member is a ministry, apostolate, organization or business entity that affiliates on the basis of the corporate mission. Each organizational membership allows one principle membership and five affiliate memberships.

Industry Membership (Full) – An Industry member is a company or business entity that provides technology goods and services. Membership benefits are similar to that of an Organization Member.

International Member (Full) – A member who lives outside of the North American Continent and is not able to participate in local, regional or national gatherings. Their sole connection with TCMA is through the Internet.

Student Member – Any full-time student in high school, college, seminary, or graduate school is eligible for student membership. Student members have access to all member benefits with the exception of the Certification Program and membership in COLA.

Affiliate Member – An affiliate member is one who has an interest in media and technology but is not directly involved. Affiliate memberships are also available for those who have a desire to learn and become involved in media.

Affiliate membership does not carry all of the benefits of a full membership. Affiliate members benefits include:
